Ganpati Bappa Moriya

Ganesh Chaturthi is a spectacular festival honouring the birth of lord Ganesha,the son of lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. This festival is celebrated with great fervour in India. Students of Pre School and Pre Primary celebrated this festival on 29. 08.14 (Friday) . Little angels dressed in the attire of Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva & Goddess Parvati. They also brought 'ladoos' for the same. Enactment of Ganesh Visarjan was done by Pre Primary students. Little kids enjoyed this festival a lot.

Family Day

Families are important in our society. They provide us with a sense of belonging and with a unique identity. They are a source of emotional support and nurturing furthermore.
Family Day was organised by Pre School on 29.08.14 (Friday). Children played the role of different family members. They were also told about Joint Family and Nuclear Family. They enjoyed dressing up as different members of their family. They were also told about the importance of having a family.

Clown Making Activity Pre School

Pre School students creativity shone brightly in a "Clown Making Activity" held on 21-08-14 (Thursday). Students had a great time making a clown with paper plates, colorful cotton balls, google eyes and glitters.

Janamashtmi Celebration

"Janamashtmi commemorates the earthy appearance of  Lord Krishna who is described in India's sacred writings as God himself." 

Students from Pre school to class I celebrated Janamashtmi on 14-08-14 (Thursday) with great pomp and show. It seemed that the little angels dressed in the attire of Lord Krishna and Radha landed on the Earth to celebrate  Krishna Janamashtmi. Morpankh head gear given to the students of Pre school and class I enthralled them. Students of Pre Primary decorated matki with vivid creativity. Students depicted various scenes from Lord Krishna's life. Perfect melody, tantalizing and vibrant in hue, the scenes stole the heart of everyone present. Little kids enjoyed as if they were symbolically celebrating Krishna's birthday.

Independence Day



“India is a country where people of all religion and languages are united”

With a great sense of pride and pleasure, Independence Day was celebrated on 13.08.14 (Wednesday) by the Nursery Department. The feeling of patriotism and love for the country blossomed all over. Children presented a melange of patriotic activities which instilled in them the value of freedom and patriotism. Pre School children showcased their tricolor eye mask. Pre Primary children paper crumpling activity. Class I students brought Tricolor sandwiches. Class II made paper collage on Tricolor flags  and class III prepared beautiful head gears using the colors of the flag. Independence Day is a moment of pride for every citizen of the country  and our tiny tots were not an exceptions.

Visit to Iskon temple



A visit to Iskon temple, Punjabi Bagh was organized for the students of Pre School on 11.08.14 (Monday) and for the students of Pre Primary on 12.08.14 (Tuesday) . Students were greatly influenced by its serene atmosphere and prayed there with full devotion. They enjoyed dancing to the tunes of Hare Rama Hare Krishna. They also relished the ‘Prasad’ served to them. It was a great spiritual experience for the tiny tots.

Raksha Bandhan



"Rakhi is not a simple thread but a thread which makes the bond of love strong and deep"



On the pious occasion of Raksha Bandhan , little learners of Nursery Department strengthened the bond of love between a brother and a sister through various activities organized for them on 08-08-14 (Friday). The students of Pre School, Pre Primary, class I and class II made beautiful Rakhis. The students of class III decorated thalis for this sacred festival. These activities instilled in them the feelings of love and care towards their brother and sisters.

Magic With Science Activity



                     "Imagination strengthens knowledge"

Technology has become a vital part of the educational process. To sensitize this effect a ' Magic with science Activity' was conducted on 07-08-14 in class II. Teachers showed various experiments related to the properties of air and water to the students. They were spell bound as there was a magical trick behind every experiment. They were told about the scientific logic behind every magic. Students were curious and anxious to know the fact behind each experiment.
