'Govinda Aala Re'


"God is proud of his divinity  in Sri Krishna.
Man is proud of his humanity in Sri Krishna."

This divinity and humanity was celebrated by students of Pre-School and Pre-Primary on the occasion of janmashtami on 27.08.13 i.e. Tuesday.
Students enjoyed dancing  and singing on Iskcon  music, decorating flutes, wearing Krishna's mukut and face mask, which made Janmashtami more colourful and vibrant.

Visit to Daily Delite

Students of pre school visited Daily Delite (Super market) on 26/08/2013 (Monday) to enhance their knowledge about wide variety of food, household  products, kitchenware, canned and packaged goods under a single roof .All enjoyed accompanying their friends at the super market .They were all amazed to see the interior which was different from the other grocery shop. It was a wonderful experience and of course an enlightening one for these toddlers.

3D Flower Making Workshop

A Workshop on 3D Flower making was organized by HT for the students of class III on 23 August 2013[Friday] wherein the students used waste old CD'S and ice-cream sticks to make a 3D flower. They painted the CD's in vibrant colours and decorated them beautifully with a 3D outliner. It was a refreshing break from the monotonous study schedule.

Fruit Day

Fruits: Ambassadors of good health

"An apple a day, keeps the doctor away" keeping this in view toddlers of preschool celebrated 'Fruit Day' on 22/08/13(Thursday) Students came dressed up as fruits. They also spoke about the importance of fruits in our daily life. Fruit chaat was also prepared by the teachers in their classes. They not only relished yummy fruit chaat but also learnt about the fruits with one seed, fruits with many seeds and fruits which are seedless. Overall it was a learning with fun activity.

Rakshabandhan

Rakshabandhan - a festival of love and care

On the special occasion of Rakshabandhan festival a card making activity for class III and Rakhi making activity for class I and II was conducted, wherein the students made attractive cards and Rakhis for their brothers and sisters. They displayed their immense love and affection towards their siblings . Students also wrote quotations and message for their siblings. The activity showcased their creativity and emotions to the fullest. The activities were enjoyed by all.
 
For the toddlers of Pre School and Pre Primary Rakhi tying activity was also conducted. It made them understand the relevance of the festival.

Being sensitive

To inculcate moral values in students, donation of old toys to the underprivileged was organized on 16.08.2013 (Friday) for the students of Pre School to class I on the occasion of International Friendship Day. Students brought their toys and donated for the cause.It was very challenging for the little kids to donate their toys.

Independence Day

Salute to mother India
 
“My freedom, my birth right”

To bring the feeling of pride and nationalism , the school organized various class and stage activities for the students of Pre School to Class III on 13-08-13 (Tuesday).
Toddlers from Pre School came dressed up as famous freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Rani Lakshmi Bai, Subhash Chandra Bose etc. Students of Pre Primary represented National Symbols like National Flower, National Animal, National Flag etc. Students of classes I to III presented a skit on Ekta Ka Mahatva on the stage. The objective of these activities was to create awareness about the freedom fighters and inculcate the feelings of patriotism amongst the children. The students pledged to respect their elders and their country on this occasion.
