Manners are important in society. They help us to be civil to one another. The most important of all are the table manners, the rules of etiquette used while eating.
Each family sets its own standards of table manners, wherein little children are trained accordingly. But a child's disposition should be publically approved also. Hence, The Hindustan Times group organised a table manners workshop for Class III on 6 May 2011(Friday) in the school premises wherein they were trained to use utensils appropriately. They were guided to make no noise with utensils whether you are with your family or outside.
The workshop was very helpful in upgrading their social relationships.

Lemonade Making (Pre Primary and Class I)

Summers are very hot,
no colas, no pepsi,
only lemonades are the best shot.

"Lemonades are the best to quench ones thirst"
Children these days are attracted towards cola, pepsi and other aerated drinks. This should be discouraged amongst them. To beat the heat, Lemonade Making Activity was organised for Pre Primary and Class I children on 8 July 2011(Friday). Children made the lemonade themselves by mixing powdered sugar into water and squeezing lemon into it. They enjoyed the refreshing drink. Children had a great time and through this activity they learned to make the fresh lemon drink independently which enhanced the level of confidence in them.
